What is the employerone Survey?
To better understand what is happening across northern Ontario, six workforce planning boards from across the north are calling on local employers to help identify their labour market needs through the employerone Survey project.
While employers in the north have participated in various partnership projects and sector-specific research with local planning boards in the past, the employer one survey is different. Employers across various industries will be asked to complete a survey specific to the current & projected needs of their business. Employers will be asked questions about the demographics of their workforce, projected vacancies, recruitment strategies & challenges, their perspective on candidate skills, education & training, top competencies needed in their business, as well as any ongoing concerns.
This highly detailed project will involve the participation of individuals and firms, and we ask that you join us in this very unique & important project. The end result will be a labour market snapshot of what issues & challenges are affecting your business & industry. This information is vital to implementing strategies that can support local businesses & help them thrive & succeed locally.

The Labour Market Group is 1 of 26 non-profit organizations across Ontario, funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Development. We are your community resource for local labour market information. We work collaboratively with community agencies & employers to develop solutions to local labour market needs.

We completely understand that you may be in your busy season! The deadline for survey submissions is December 1, 2017. We hope you take advantage of the many convenient options to complete the survey before the deadline, and we will be here for support!
If your organization has a head office, you will need to contact them to find out who the best person is to fill out the survey. Any employer with 1 or more employees can fill it out!
